Cooking casseroles usually means long cooking periods, and the waterless pot is ideal for this purpose. Because of the unique structure of the pots there’s no need for water to be added whilst cooking and the temperature of the inner pot is carefully regulated.
A waterless pot consists of two pots, one slightly smaller than the other. The smaller pot fits inside the larger one and tapers away slightly from the outer edge of the larger pot. Once food is placed in the smaller pot, the lid will seal the surface and cooking can begin. The steam created within the pot will gently and slowly cook the food whilst retaining the natural nutrients, resulting in a delicious and healthy meal.
All waterless cookware works on the same principle, i.e., to retain the foods natural taste and goodness without the need to add water, which can dilute the vitamin and minerals, or grease, which adds to one’s fat intake.
Made of surgical stainless steel the pots structure consists of several layers of metal, all of which are covered by stainless steel. Stainless steel does not leech metal fragments into food whilst cooking and is therefore an ideal product for this purpose. The inner layers of the pots are constructed with aluminum and copper which helps to produce the heat and evenly distribute it throughout the cooking period.
All pots are flat based so that all the food is cooked at the same time, and this in turn prevents burning or sticking to the bottom of the pan.
A waterless pot can be a great asset in the kitchen, particularly if you work full time and have a family to feed. You can produce delicious meals with the minimum of effort, and won’t have to scrub or soak the pots for hours in order to get them clean.
